Our goal is to build a community of 1,000,000 adventurers/members from every corner of the globe who are committed to expanding their; knowledge, awareness, physical, mental and spiritual well-being, while having some fun.
Unlike most of the other adventure clubs, this club is designed to motivate you and hold you accountable to achieving your challenges and help you to set goals for yourself. We will provide you with the; support, guidance, tips, suggestions and relevant advice necessary to achieve your goals.
We are not a dating site, we are not a tour operator, we are not a charity, we are not trying to sell you anything, we are giving you prizes and cash for achieving your goals. Most of all we want to help you achieve what you have previously being unable to achieve on your own.
The Founder – Chris Hardwick, resides in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Chris is a global; adventurer, explorer, mountaineer, hiker, climber, rider, runner, skier, SUPer who reads, does yoga and has a deep desire to helps others.

Yes, that is the preferred method of tracking to have everyone using the same apps for ease of tracking. However, if you have an equivalent free app that is acceptable by the organizers, share it with us, thanks.

No information is collected by Adventure Club 1000 or by our website. We only use 3rd party sites, including payment providers and Apps for tracking the various challenges. We have no control of what you post and provide to 3rd party websites.
Yes, once you become a member and pay your first years dues, you will receive Member login information and will be able to opt out for future annual membership renewals at any time if you wish to leave the club.

For the purpose of this challenge, you must summit a Peak that is defined as being over 2,000ft/610m, where the minimum distance for hiking/trekking distance is greater than 6miles/10kms. For the purpose of this challenge, a Run is defined as being greater than 3miles/5km’s where not more than one run per/day is counted. A run could include: road, trail, cross-country or walk-run. For tracking we shall use https://www.strava.com/mobile
For the purpose of this challenge, a Ride is defined as being longer than 10miles/16km’s where not more than one ride per/day is counted. A ride could include; cruising, road, mountain, gravel, cyclocross, (but not e-bike). If on an e-bike the distance must be greater that 20miles/32kms. For the purpose of this challenge, a Ski trip is defined as being longer than 10miles/16km’s where not more than one ride per/day is counted. A ski trip could include; alpine skiing for the day, cross country (either skate or classic) skiing, backcountry skiing or snowshoeing. For the purpose of this challenge, a Canoe trip is defined as being longer than 10miles/16km’s where not more than one trip per/day is counted. A canoe trip could include; canoeing, kayaking, white-water, SUP or surfing. For tracking we shall use https://www.strava.com/mobile
For the purpose of this challenge, a Yoga session is defined as being longer than 30mins where not more than one session per/day is counted. A Yoga session could include; Yoga, Pilates, Pole Dancing, Ballet/Barre, Dancing or a Gym workout (with a personal trainer). For tracking we shall use https://www.strava.com/mobile or,

For the purpose of this challenge, you must read a non-fiction book (or e-book) in its entirety with a minimum of 200 pages. A non-fiction book could include; Business, Biography, History, Philosophy or similar. For tracking you will need to keep a Book Log.
For the purpose of this challenge, you must identify 10 different Registered Charities. For tracking, you will need to keep copies of government-issued donation receipts. It will be acceptable to provide up to 50% (or 5 charities) of your time in lieu of donations, provided you are able to substantiate your hours at the minimum wage rate equivalent.
